Assistant HR Manager

**Responsibilities**:
**HR Business Partnering**:
- Collaborate with business leaders and department heads to understand their needs and align HR strategies with overall business goals.
- Provide strategic HR guidance on talent management, organizational design, and workforce planning.
**Training and Development**:
- Identify training needs and develop training programs to enhance employee skills, performance, and career growth.
- Collaborate with external training providers and internal resources to deliver effective learning initiatives.
**Payroll Management**:
- Oversee the payroll process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in collaboration with finance and external payroll vendors.
- Address payroll-related inquiries from employees and resolve any discrepancies.
**Recruitment and Onboarding**:
- Lead the recruitment process by collaborating with hiring managers to define job requirements, creating job postings, and conducting interviews.
- Facilitate smooth onboarding procedures for new hires, ensuring they are well-integrated into the company culture.
**Compensation & Benefits**:
- Administer compensation and benefits programs, including salary structures, bonuses, and employee benefits packages.
- Conduct salary benchmarking and analysis to ensure competitive compensation offerings.
- Collaborate with benefits providers to enhance employee satisfaction and wellness.
**Employee Relations**:
- Address employee inquiries, concerns, and grievances, providing effective resolutions and maintaining positive relationships.
- Work with managers to manage employee performance, behavior, and career development.
**Compliance and Policies**:
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies, keeping HR practices aligned with legal requirements.
- Develop and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks as needed.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree or HR certification is advantageous.
- At least 3 years of progressive experience in HR roles, including experience as an HRBP, preferably within a Japanese company.
- Proficiency in HRIS, payroll systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Good communication skills in English
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrated experience in training, recruiting, C&B, and payroll management.
