**Position Summary**
- Reporting to Country Manager of Thailand, this position has strategic responsibility for the sales activities of the Thailand market.
- The position is responsible for directing Strategic Planning of the Sales function of DIS (Dental Implant System) Biomaterial, and Digital, allocation of resources and ongoing management and evaluation of progress toward specified goals. Additional key responsibilities include ensuring continuing sales growth align with marketing plan and ensuring expense forecasts are achieved. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, customer service, and clinical support, to ensure that our products meet the needs of our customers and deliver high-quality patient care.

People management responsibilities include the provision of leadership, decision making, coaching and performance appraisal for the direct reports, selecting the best talent, monitoring the achievements of Sales team.

**Responsibility**

**Setting strategic direction**:

- Work as a member of Management to develop strategic direction.
- Prepare Sales budgets, reports, and forecasts, in line with Country Manager directives.
- Implement & monitor strategic plan, adapted as needed and reflected in quarterly plans and marketing strategy changes, and sales/profitability results.
- Anticipate changes in the workplace so that new approaches may be developed, and customer needs may be addressed.
- Prepare and lead monthly/quarterly/annual sales review and prepare meeting evaluation and feedback from participants.

**Sales and Marketing Management**:

- Analyze end of month sales results and pro-actively devise action plans with marketing to address issues, develop accounts and capture market share.
- Summarize key events/threat/opportunities etc. in the monthly report.
- Review Sales team monthly reports with Business Manager and marketing team, and ensure all critical information received is passed on to Country Manager
- Actively seek for tender opportunities and work with Finance Manager and Marketing Manager when special pricing is required.
- Manage promotional / operational budget. Ensure the limit of borrow goods is achieved. Ensure AR is collected within timely manner.
- Ensure timely and effective communication with major customers. Maintain contact with key customers, industry associations to achieve the objective of the company and advise them of product changes if any in a timely manner.
- Serves as a conduit between the team and other functions [e.g., Customer Service and Distribution, Material Planning, Marketing, Finance etc.] to ensure the sales force has the tools and support necessary to achieve results.

**Business Management**:

- Co-ordinate and direct Sales team to achieve annual sales and marketing budget & expense budget.
- Review of Sales team’s performance objectives, account management and overall performance. Provide Business Managers with feedback on ways to improve results (e.g., training, shift in customer focus).
- Review of Marketing team’s performance objectives together with Sr. Marketing Manager, account management and overall performance. Provide Managers feedback on ways to improve results [e.g., training, shift in customer focus].
- Address personnel and performance issues in a pro-active manner [e.g., performance improvement plans for individuals who are not achieving results].
- Recruit superior personnel to fulfil vacancies within agreed timeframe.
- Develop training and coach new sales team member together with Head of Commercial Excellence, APAC to achieve maximum performance within a short timeframe. Solicit assistance from local marketing and Regional Marketing on product knowledge as necessary.
- Continuous development of career / personnel retention initiatives.
- Take leadership position in establishing initiatives in key priority areas for the sales force, work with local Commercial Excellence to provide team with information and overall direction.
- Work with the Country Manager to develop appropriate Bonus & Incentive schemes and review salary Conduct Straumann Performance Management

**Customer Management**:

- Maintain and develop relationships with KOLS and decision makers.
- Build, develop trust, maintain strong long-lasting customers relationships with key accounts, and customer stakeholders.
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
- Assist with challenging customers’ requests or issue escalations as needed.
- Present, promote and sell our products and services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers.
- Address customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction.
- Communicating and collaborating with all function of company to ensure that key clients’ needs are met.
