GRS Technical Manager

Reporting to the Global Regulatory Services (GRS) Director, Taste & Beyond ASIA, you will be part of a dynamic GRS team with the challenge to provide support to our business.

**Key Responsibilities**:
To provide the following GRS services to Firmenich covering Thailand:
- Responsible for safety and regulatory compliance of Firmenich products marketed in Thailand;
Perform Thai FDA product registration and concern activities;
Prepare regulatory documentation independently for customer requests and submissions relating to the safety/regulatory compliance aspects of Firmenich products;
Review formula to determine if they meet government, industry, customer, and company guidelines for safety and regulatory compliance; and/or if the changes may have to be made and in development of regulatory documentation;
Advise and discuss both internal and external customers in various standards, regulations, and guidelines concerning Firmenich products and the regulatory aspects during all the phases of the project.

To be an expert and the first point of contact on all the regulatory matters in Thailand:
- Monitor and keep abreast of major legislative changes and issues. Share and comment on updated and emerging food & flavor regulations in Thailand;
Foster and maintain the sustainable relationship with Thai FDA & related authorities;
Represent Firmenich at local F&F industry/trade associations;
Provide product regulatory training to internal customers.

**We value**:
Tertiary degrees in Food Science/Chemistry or related fields;
3-5 years of relevant experiences in flavor/food/food additives, chemical, pharmaceutical. Ideally in F & F industry and working well with/under Thai FDA environment;
Good knowledge in Thailand food and flavor regulations. Extended knowledge in Indochina food and flavor regulations is an advantage;
Service-oriented. Self-starter with the ability to multi-task;
Dynamic, fast, and flexible team player, able to work with many different functions and people;
Fluency in English and Thai is a must. Computer literacy.
