We are now looking for an energic Business Controller to join our Finance and Administration team in Asia Pacific.

As our Business Controller for Southeast Asia, you would:
- Responsible for the assigned unit's management accounting and reporting, including monthly reports and estimates, annual plans, strategy calculations.- Actively serve as financial operations to the Southeast Asia (SEA) Region business, analyzing & articulating the key financial and operational drivers (both risks & opportunities) cover all Business Lines (BL)e.g. Pulp & Energy (P&E), Paper (PAP), Services (SER) and Automation (AUT).- Support Vice President, Finance and Administration Asia Pacific effectively communicating the company’s performance, progress, and prospects to Valmet’s top Management.- Participate in strategy development, financial and operational planning.- Monitor operational and financial results and indicators of BL’s and Region.-
- Support the development and maintenance of financial planning and forecasting tools.- Provide financial analysis to support investment decisions and/or other business decisions.- Manage and understand different stakeholder relations in SEA, AP Area, Global.- Work as a business partner with areas of the business to prepare financial plans and estimates of future business plans and strategy.- Monitor operational and financial results within the projects and SEA region supporting Asia Pacific Area.- Responsible for Actual and Estimates reporting on time and accurate.- Keep the information updated, on time, accurate on the tools provided by each BL (HFM (Hyperion), PMT, DW, Ana Plan, Info LN, BOB, Power BI etc.)- Responsible for development of Controlling SEA Finance and Accounting team.- Network with all business functions and supporting functions to ensure effective financial service and controlling.- Responsible for the documentation of BOD Legal requirements of all entities in SEA.

To take this role, beside your willingness to learn, grow and work in Asia Pacific, you will need:
- Strong experience in Business controlling 10 years up experience required.- Self-motivated drive to fulfill requirements and meet timelines and ability to roll up sleeves when working across teams and functions to influence action.- Ability to identify critical topics and process issues where necessary.- Excellent communication skills with ability to deliver complex messages in an effective way.- Fluent in written and spoken English, competence in other languages is an advantage.- Understanding of Valmet business model and way of working is an advantage.- Effective documentation and presentation skills.- Ability to work well under pressure, identify critical topics and keep others positive and motivated.- Degree in finance / economics related fields.- Capable in coaching other individuals and believes in people development.- Experience in leading teams and wider networking globally.
