**SUMMARY**:
The post holder will work closely with the Director, Overseas Centre Bangkok and the Office of Overseas Centres to facilitate all aspects of the daily operations and office administration, and provide support in developing and executing internationalisation strategies in Thailand, including the Singapore-Thailand Corridor and the region.

The post holder will support the facilitation to expand Singapore Management University’s Professional & Continuing Education and Postgraduate Professional Programmes, as well as student projects, placements, internships, and other educational programmes.

**PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES**:
1. Business Development
- Identify, cultivate, and manage relationships with key strategic partners, corporations, and alumni networks to foster collaborations and identify new opportunities.
- Support the Director in the development and execution of strategic plans to enhance market outreach and student recruitment efforts.
- Act as a liaison between Singapore Management University (SMU) stakeholders and local entities, addressing inquiries and facilitating effective communication.
- Conduct in-depth market research, provide timely intelligence, develop and update communication materials, track deliverables and provide periodic reporting to the management team.
- Develop and implement marketing and communication strategies for the Office of Overseas Centres, including but not limited to supporting public relations, advertising, social media, and corporate communication.

2. Office Operations Management
- Drive operational planning and budgeting, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
- Manage a range of administrative support functions such as preparation of reports and meeting notes, meeting organization, and event logistics.
- Utilize data-driven insights to streamline administrative processes, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Responsible for the official Line business account, managing end-to-end content dissemination methods (text, videos, etc.), acquiring new users, and engaging with existing users.

3. Others
- Exceptional proficiency in office software (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) to create high quality presentation materials.
- Support Director on planning and resource allocation matters.
- Collaborate on cross-functional projects, working with academic, admissions, and marketing teams to achieve holistic institutional objectives.
- Assist with other tasks assigned by the Centre Director

**ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION**:

- Bachelor’s degree preferably in business, communications, human resources, or related discipline
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience in the education industry.

**EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED**:

- Proven track record of successful business development and strategic partnerships in a top-tier academic institution or similar environment.
- Global mindset with experience in international education and a deep understanding of global business trends.
- Entrepreneurial spirit and a demonstrated ability to drive innovation in student recruitment and business development strategies.
- Deep understanding of the Thailand’s educational system, infrastructure and policies
- Meticulous with strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication, and presentation skills
- Effectively bilingual in Thai and English language
- Resourceful, independent worker and also a team player
- Demonstrated ability to deliver timely and high-quality work
- Familiarity with cutting-edge marketing technologies and data analytics tools.
