The MCAPS Controls & Compliance (C&C) team provides compliance leadership, training, and monitoring in support of management’s responsibility to mitigate risks, supporting the Microsoft Commercial Business.

The Group Compliance Manager will be part of the ASEAN/ ASIA Controls and Compliance Finance team that is responsible for establishing a culture of compliance in the ASEAN region by articulating the importance of compliance to senior management and influencing the right tone at the top.

**Responsibilities**:
To provide strategic leadership for the design and continues improvement of internal controls, monitoring, risk assessment & mitigations and all compliance efforts associated to Cloud and Consumption in all Commercial Solutions areas, AI and related emerging technologies and business solutions.

**Compliance Office & Compliance Committees**
- Contribute to the BLCR including the quarterly Compliance Committees providing recommendation on topics related to the emerging trends and risks Cloud & Consumption and AI that should be escalated to the Area and Regional Compliance Committees.
- Actively participate in the global Cloud & Consumption and AI compliance community who will collectively work on emerging/new risk identification, incubation, improvement and evolvement of controls/monitoring, learning and sharing best practice within MCAPS
business, finance and broader compliance communities.
- Support Business Compliance Champs to drive compliance communications, newsletter or any training as needed in Cloud & Consumption and AI compliance.
- Ensure Compliance is embedded in business priorities, raise, and support red flags resolutions along with any BRI escalations.

**Risk Assessment and Mitigation**
- In alignment with MCAPS Core Compliance, cross group compliance partners and by leveraging the standard global processes conduct risk assessments and continuously monitor emerging internal control risks in the world of Cloud Consumption and Data & AI, update and evolve existing controls and processes to respond to these risks and mitigate them proactively.
- Work closely with the global Cloud & Consumption and AI compliance community and relevant business groups to align new projects, process and contribute the development of new compliance policies and guidelines and provide relevant education as appropriate.
- Participate in the design, implementation and monitoring of preventative and detective internal controls and related processes for Cloud & Consumption and AI.
- Ensure integrity and compliance with corporate and local policies and procedures.
- Drive and participate in enhancements of existing corporate (e.g., Ethical Sales, Consumption, Responsible AI etc...) and / or local policies

**Monitoring & Collaboration**
- Support the business to monitor compliance dashboard and ensure follow-up on compliance violations.
- Provide compliance insight into any existing and new offerings, sales motions, program, special pricing deals and Control Monitoring Insights (CMI) process as applicable for cloud and consumption and AI.
- Detect and report to appropriate Microsoft management any violation or deviation from standards and practices including the code of conduct, laws, and other misconduct.
- Support the Business in Audit reviews and in the implementation of post audit recommendations.

**Education**
- Support the business in internal readiness including in-person training, participation in the Field business all-hands as necessary or required.
- Ensure effective communication and understanding of the Compliance framework, importance, and implications across the cloud and consumption and AI business in the region.
- Contribute the development of any global communication, training, and readiness efforts (for example role-based compliance trainings etc.) under the guidance of MCAPS Core Compliance and cross group compliance partners.

**Qualifications**:
**Required/Minimum Qualifications**
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or related field **AND** 6+ years of work experience in a Finance and Risk & Compliance role.
- OR equivalent experience.
- Experience in Governance, Compliance & Risk Management, including experience designing and implementing risk and control frameworks.
- Proven expertise around process excellence including the ability to partner with stakeholders to develop and implement solutions. Includes the ability to critically challenge the status quo.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong cross group collaboration skills, including the ability to influence and impact without authority at all levels of an organization.
