Job Detail
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for everything inside and associated with the warehouse operations. The people, processes, hardware, systems, etc. Will drive continuous improvement in the areas of safety, cost, quality, service, and process productivity.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

- Provide hands-on direct leadership to warehouse and distribution teams in achieving department strategic, tactical, and operations goals.
- Assist in the development of financial department budgets. Define and closely monitor objectives in the areas of cost reduction, preventive maintenance, and increased capacity utilization (both space and employee performance).
- Analyze and continuously improve the warehouse/distribution process. Obey all federal, state, and local statutes while performing all operations.
- Successfully lead teams in accurate and timely inventory transactions for the safe, efficient flow of materials through the warehouse, into production locations, and return to stock.
- Strengthen infrastructure through education, training, performance-based appraisals, and recruiting. Establish and monitor specific goals and objectives.
- Loading and unloading of trucks and expediting paperwork for data entry
- Implement and maintain adequate security operations
- Maintain a strategic and in-depth knowledge of the business. Must demonstrate the ability to evaluate the potential impact of issues on all relevant areas of the operation. Consider future opportunities and trends and generate effective solutions that will work for the business.
- Be innovative. Effectively lead others through constant change to explore new ideas and suggest new concepts.
- Demonstrate the ability to create a team environment where employees meet or exceed ambitious department goals, deliver business results, and continually find improvements to processes.
- Develop policies and procedures to ensure state and federal FDA, GMP, and OTC compliance. Ensure the safe, timely, efficient, and effective execution of work assignments, and maintain conformance to established quality expectations, GMP, FDA, and OSHA compliance.
- Establish solid inter-departmental working relationships with planning, purchasing, accounting, warehousing, and human resources. Actively participate in the resolution of all quality and packaging issues. Communicate and ensure compliance with all corporate policies and objectives.
- Create and foster a work culture to meet our number one objective - SAFETY. Must exhibit a clear understanding and can see and take appropriate action to prevent accidents BEFORE they happen.

Required work
experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Logistics, International Business Management, Business Administration, or any related field
- English communication skill
- Prior SAP and WAS knowledge is a must
- 7+ years related management experience in the Cosmetic or Pharmaceutical field, with GMP experience.
- Logistics and material supply experience a must. Prior functional working knowledge of a warehouse working environment is preferred.
- Effective decision-making, planning, and analytical skills
