Conference and Events Manager

**Responsibilities**
- Receiving handover files for both local catering events such as local meetings, press conferences, dinners, etc (with accommodation less than 10 rooms) and group files such as Tour Series, Group Room Only, Meeting Group, and Incentive Group (with accommodation of more than 10 rooms) from the Sales team
- Using Opera system to monitor bookings, update information, and group management related.
- Main point of contact with the booker/group organizer, discuss all inquiries and correspondence, coordinate with other departments regarding all matters related to the group arrangement
- Prepare and distribute the group action plan/banquet event order and outline of necessary arrangements 1 week prior to the event date/group arrival
- On-site meeting with booker/group organizer
- Review and close the bill/master folio with the booker/organizer
- Other related administration works
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent hotel management courses with hotel operations
- Minimum 4 years in a similar or relevant field
- Good knowledge of computer skills i.e. Opera PMS, Microsoft Word, and Excel
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
