Sales Department Head

**Key Role**:
Prepare and recommend yearly sales and expense budgets, direct and control sales activities of the Feed Department, in order to achieve forecasted sales and collection targets within the planned budget.
Develop effective marketing plans and strategies based on RBU/country strategy maps/ initiatives and market research findings for new market and new product development, market information, and overall business environment.
Implement marketing plans and strategies through the sales team and review them from time to time so as to achieve sales targets for each product agency.
Conduct sales meetings regularly with all sales personnel to review and analyze the sales performance of products and discuss stock positions and aging.
Train, develop, supervise, motivate, and lead the sales team to equip them with sound product knowledge, systems, strategy, and selling skills to ensure effective implementation of the RBU/company/department strategy in order to derive optimal performance.
Ensure that the company’s Performance Management scheme is implemented in your department and the goals are established in line with the RBU/company strategy targets and initiatives and submitted on time to management.
Maintain good rapport and close relationships with A, B, and project customers to gain a clear understanding of customer needs and monitor the performance of all product agencies through regular customer visits.
Attain the principal’s objectives in terms of sales performance and customer service levels to maintain distributorship rights for all product agencies.
Maintain close communications with Principals overseas to seek advice on problems relating to product quality and provide information on the local market situation.
Attend to Principals’ representatives’ requirements to meet their visits’ objectives, which would include reviewing sales performance and activities. Assure timely submission of call and monthly reports and continual updating of C4C and sample database records.
Ensure proper MRP stock planning to maintain the optimal stock level for smooth operation and approve Purchase Orders for stock control.
Monitor outstanding accounts and ensure collection target is met to ensure Company’s profitability.
Source and develop new agencies.
Supervise and ensure that all necessary reports are submitted timely.
Ensure that Knowledge Management and Databases are maintained and up to date.
Any other tasks as assigned by the Superior from time to time.
Provide all necessary support to the Industry Specialist Team.
**Secondary Role**:
Provide support to the EHS team and ensure that the EHS policy is followed.
To ensure that sufficient EHS Training is provided to all sub-ordinates.
To evaluate and follow up on the root causes, corrective and preventive action for accidents, Incidents, and Non-Conformations (NC).
To ensure the effective monitoring and measurement of actual performance toward the organization’s EHS objectives and targets.
To comply with all relevant EHS legal and other requirements associated with the job functions and responsibilities.
To comply with all EHS requirements affecting the operations, including those affecting the customers, suppliers, and contractors supplying and serving the departments.
To ensure full participation from sub-ordinates in EHS programs. - To participate in EHS programs.
To follow the EHS procedures and work instructions.
Participate in the Responsible Care Initiative.
Create and maintain a fair, democratic, and good working environment.
Together with company management, maintain a cohesive and stable workforce.
Dedication to special tasks assigned by Managing Director, Regional Manager, and or CEO.
