Marsh Thailand has an exciting and challenging opportunity available and is seeking suitably qualified and experienced senior executives to bring their experience, background and insights to the following key role to the firm, based in the organization’s Bangkok office.

**What can you expect?**

This role will be responsible for establishing, building and leading the Affinity Practice in the development and implementation of field execution, partnership and growth strategies within Thailand as they relate to the business. This role will also work with the regional Affinity Team on the coordination of strategic initiatives related to the Affinity business and distribution of Affinity products, services and related facilities and schemes for the Thai market. This role reports to the the Chief Executive Officer Thailand with a dotted line to the Affinity Asia Leader (based in Hong Kong).

**We will count on you to**:

- Define, understand and operationalize a Thai business strategy for the Affinity Business (defined as Scheme & Affinity business covering Auto, Device, Affinity & Sharing Economy Business).
- Matrix with a team of regional Affinity business leaders and various specialists who drive business growth, support new initiatives and regional projects targeting the Commercial sector.
- Direct business assessment of potential and existing clients to gain new and expanded business within Thailand, while driving local initiatives from strategy to go live across multiple stakeholders, both internal and external.
- Engage with related stakeholders to build out a local strategy for client facing technology process refinement, client sales & development strategies, placement and facility management
- Support the building of a strong regional and local scalable Technology Platforms for the Practice through provision of needs of the local Thai business to ensure that the strategy is in line with needs from the business, local management teams and regional and global management.
- Lead the Identification and definition of strategy and pitch to new clients and new distribution channels in the practice
- Support, lead and close new business opportunities working in close alignment with global specialist resources, country segment leaders and others
- Align with other specialty functions in cross-collaboration projects to grow the practice in Thailand including but not limited to Employee Health & Benefits, Marsh Specialty practices, Risk Management and Corporate & Commercial.
- Provide senior engagement with Insurers as the practice builds new products and, in conjunction with the regional Affinity team, oversight existing placements supporting the country practice

**What you need to have**:

- Commensurate with the role, minimum 10 years business experience in a financial services capacity, ideally in General Insurance Distribution.
- Experience in Insurance, Affinity, Automotive, Device or Sharing Economy environments.
- Strong knowledge of the insurance environment across the Thai market, in the areas of Insurance Products, Distribution and Technology trends and platforms is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and oversight delivery programs within the business.
- Excellent knowledge of the relevant regulatory and compliance environment in Thailand.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team to drive revenue and profitable growth.
- Relevant undergraduate qualifications to Bachelor degree level
- Strong commands of all facets of both English and Thai.
