Finance and Accounting Manager

Reporting to the Global CFO and responsible for below activities:

Manage the Local Finance Team

• Plan for the Finance activities and tasks and supervise the staff and day-to-day operation of the local Finance team
• Review reports/results of tasks and overall performance of staff, provide feedback/counselling/coaching, as required
• Build a high performing Finance team to meet the growing needs of the company

Manage Local Financial and Management Reporting

• Develop, interpret, and implement financial processes and controls, promote process standardization and implementation
• Support the GM's business plan by providing timely and accurate financial data, performance and cost analysis reports
• Manage the preparation and implementation of the annual budget, assist in CAPEX, investment, and cost management initiatives
• Provide projected P&L and cash flows based on the business plan – prepare monthly accruals, review accounting postings, calculate post-management adjustments, reconcile intercompany transactions
• Responsible for company's tax planning, asset and working capital management, and participate in the decision-making of local business operations

Compliance with Local Laws and Statutory Obligations

• Responsible for the timely and accurate preparation and submission of the company's local statutory accounts
• Responsible for the timely and accurate preparation of the company's local statutory tax returns
• Manage the external audit process and maintain positive relationship with external stakeholders including auditors, tax authorities, and government bodies
• Ensure compliance with other statutory obligations such as Insurance coverage, legal responsibilities
• Support the application and on-going compliance activities relating to BOI, Free Zone, IEAT, Customs filling

Support the Head Quarter (HQ) Financial Management

• Ensure the timely submission of invoices and expense payment requests to the HQ controller and monitor the issues encountered
• Assist HQ in cost allocations, stocktaking, performance analysis and other financial related activities
• Advise the Global CFO on national laws, regulations and other relevant information to support Group's strategic investment and funding decisions
• Maintain open communications with HQ controller and Global CFO, recommend ways to improve the financial performance of the company while reducing the operational risks
• Recommend and support the Finance system implementation

Implement Finance Policies and Procedures

• Oversee the implementation of group policies and recommend changes to adapt to local situations
• Identify areas of control weakness in the financial process and procedure and recommend/implement improvements
• Oversee the design and implementation of local policies/procedures to ensure proper accounting practice and the prevention of fraud
• Encourage Finance team to enforce policies/procedures across all areas of the business, eg, purchasing approval process, etc.

Expected Areas of Competence

• Bachelor or master's degree in accounting and financial or economics
• Financial and project costing controlling.
• ACCA/CIMA/CPA/CPD certification
• At least 10 years' experience in Finance and Accounting Manager in Manufacturing (Automotive,

Semiconductor, or related industrial)
- Audit work experience is desirable. (in manufacturing)
- Working Manufacturing with Chinese Company
- Sound knowledge of Thai GAAP
- High sense of loyalty and responsibility to the team
- Strong in developing and implementing of Internal Control Process
- Experienced in SAP and similar accounting systems
- Staff management experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluent in English or Chinese (Mandarin)
- Knowledge and experience in BOI and IEAT applications and reporting is a must
- Confident to work with foreigners
- Proactive, positive, can-do attitude and teamwork
- Process controller.
- Fluent in English communication
