Job Summary:

The Chartering Solutions (Junior Level) is responsible for overseeing and coordinating chartering operations to ensure optimal utilization of assets and resources.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Negotiate and secure competitive freight rates for bulk cargo shipments with shipping lines, brokers, and agents serving affiliated companies, joint ventures, and external clients.
  • Manage chartering arrangements including voyage and time charters, ensuring terms align with operational needs and commercial goals.
  • Monitor global freight market trends and prepare a concise weekly Freight Situation Summary to support client decision-making.
  • Coordinate vessel scheduling and cargo readiness to ensure smooth loading, discharge, and turnaround.
  • Ensure full compliance with maritime regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies.
  • Support strategic planning for bulk sea freight logistics, including cost optimization and risk mitigation.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in chartering, shipping, or bulk logistics.
  • Solid understanding of charter party agreements, especially in bulk shipping.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills with a proactive mindset.
  • Good command of English (TOEIC score 600+ preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
