Customer Service Representative

Our client is a well-established multinational manufacturer within the food production and pet nutrition sector. They are currently seeking a Customer Service Representative to join their team in the Samutprakarn area. This position supports domestic customers and works closely with cross functional teams to ensure smooth order processing, documentation accuracy, and high-quality service delivery that supports the company's role in the pet food industry.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and update customer information, documents, and internal systems.
- Receive, process, and schedule customer orders and changes, ensuring timely communication across teams.
- Prepare invoices according to internal guidelines.
- Coordinate with internal departments to support order fulfillment, sample requests, and general customer inquiries.
- Process credit notes, returns, and billing adjustments following established procedures.
- Work with the sales team to update order forecasts and provide monthly reports comparing actual orders to planned figures.
- Proactively follow up with customers based on order patterns and expected demand.
- Record and manage customer complaints in line with internal procedures.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding orders, products, and service needs.
- Support logistics coordination and liaise with delivery partners to ensure smooth dispatch.
- Collaborate with plant or warehouse teams to maintain accurate scheduling and order status updates.
- Maintain customer records within CRM or ERP systems.
- Provide back-up support to other team members when needed.
- Participate in special projects or assignments as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Around five years of experience in customer service, order management, or a related operational role.
- Strong understanding of customer service processes, documentation, and internal controls.
- Good command of English in both speaking and writing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills when dealing with customers and internal teams.
- Experience with ERP systems is preferred.
- Familiarity with logistics, supply chain coordination, and order processing workflows.
- Ability to maintain accurate records, prepare reports, and manage data.
- Comfortable working with CRM or ERP systems for order entry and customer management.
- Continuous improvement mindset, exposure to Lean or Kaizen is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Good general health and the ability to perform basic physical tasks when required.
