Overseas Sales Executive-Food Manufacturing

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Overseas Sales Executive to manage and develop international sales operations. The role involves direct engagement with overseas customers, coordination with internal departments, and strategic planning to expand our global footprint. The successful candidate will possess strong communication skills, an in-depth understanding of international trade, and the ability to navigate across cultures and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Planning & Reporting
- Develop and execute international sales plans to meet company targets.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance by customer and market.
- Prepare comprehensive sales reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
Customer Relationship Management
- Establish, maintain, and strengthen long-term relationships with existing and potential overseas clients.
- Act as the main point of contact for assigned accounts and ensure client satisfaction through effective communication.
Sales Coordination & Quotation Management
- Coordinate with internal departments (product, logistics, quality) to ensure alignment with customer requirements.
- Prepare quotations and negotiate terms and conditions in line with company policies.
- Follow up on customer feedback, including product evaluations and sample inspections.
After-Sales Support & Issue Resolution
- Provide professional after-sales support to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Handle customer complaints or product non-conformities and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure timely resolution.
Marketing & Trade Exhibition Participation
- Represent the company at international and domestic trade exhibitions and business events.
- Prepare exhibition materials, product samples, brochures, and conduct initial negotiations with prospects.
- Follow up with leads and contacts acquired through trade shows to convert them into business opportunities.
Regulatory & Product Knowledge
- Maintain a solid understanding of food products and international market requirements.
- Keep up-to-date with country-specific regulations and standards.
Contract Review & Legal Compliance
- Review commercial contracts and ensure compliance with international trade laws and customer-specific legal conditions.
- Coordinate with legal or compliance teams when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Degree in International Business, Marketing, Food Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in export sales or international trade (preferably in the food industry).
- Excellent command of English (both written and spoken). Additional languages are a plus.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
