Reports to: Managing Director


POSITION PURPOSE

Lead and grow the company's Duty Free & Freezone export business by developing strategic partnerships with key customers in Thailand's border areas and neighbouring countries.

Drive full sales performance, including P&L responsibilities, pricing strategy, trade terms, and customer relationship management to achieve both short-term results and long-term business expansion.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Account & Export Sales Management
  • Manage and strengthen relationships with key duty free and freezone customers
  • Act as the primary contact for customers: promotion planning, negotiation, annual agreements, business reviews, new product launches, and customer fulfillment.
  • Understand customer strategies and align them with company brand objectives to maximize business opportunities.
Strategic Planning & Execution
  • Develop annual sales plans, pricing strategies, discount schemes, and promotional activities for assigned export/freezone territories.
  • Conduct regular business performance analysis, highlighting opportunities, risks, and action plans to achieve sales, profit, and growth targets.
  • Troubleshoot and follow up critical issues such as forecasting, delivery, cash collection, and DSO management.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with Marketing, Finance, Logistics, and other support functions to deliver best-in-class service to customers.
  • Monitor and share market intelligence: competitor activities, category trends, pricing movements, and consumer insights.
  • Coordinate with internal resources (IT, HR, Logistics) to support customer performance and business expansion.
Team Leadership & Development
  • Manage and develop the Duty Free sales team (currently 2 team members).
  • Provide coaching, training, and guidance to enhance team capability and drive overall sales performance.

  • Profit improvement
  • DSO (Days Sales Outstanding) management and cash flow performance

REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related fields.
  • 6–7+ years of experience in FMCG sales; experience in Export Sales, Duty Free, CML Export, or Border Trade is a strong advantage.
  • Experience managing northern/ northeastern regions or neighbouring-country customers is highly preferred.
  • Background working with wholesalers, freezone distributors, or border trade markets is a plus.
Skills & Competencies
  • Strong customer relationship skills with excellent negotiation ability.
  • Proven ability to manage P&L, pricing, and trade terms.
  • Strong communication in Thai and English; confident, agile, professional personality.
  • Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capability; highly proactive and energetic.
  • Good leadership capability; experience supervising or coaching a sales team.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Computer literate: Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Office.
  • Flexible to travel and work extended hours when required.
  • Knowledge of merchandising and retail operations is an advantage.
