Job Description

  • Handle daily work and projects under defined process with supervision.
  • Be the quality focal point for the supplier activities directed toward process control and quality assurance of sourcing products, work with supplier to establish a structured approach for consistency and adherence to quality procedures and requirements.
  • Drive suppliers' systematic quality improvement according to the voice of customers via projects of SCAR and Kaizen.
  • Follow up non-conforming from the supplier audit, during-process inspection, pre-shipment inspection, quality complaints from internal customers, product returns and safety recalls. Identify / drive root cause analysis, corrective action, and preventive action implementation.
  • Drive for the assigned quality initiative programs for key supplier management.
  • Work closely with cross functional teams to eliminate roadblocks & communication barriers that may affect quality and delivery requirements.
  • Work closely with US QA team to manage service providers to ensure compliance with relevant requirements from Company Integrity Policy, QA Standard Operating Procedures and MSA.
  • Be an internal data expert, develop algorithms and models using multiple programming languages to analyze datasets to derive business insight and improve quality improvement efficiency.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in an Engineering, Science, Supply Chian, Logistic or related field.
  • Green Belt (GB) or Black Belt (BB) certification in Lean Six Sigma is preferred.
  • Proficiency in English able to work effectively with teams in the US, China, and global suppliers/factories. Chinese language ability is an advantage.
  • Over 5 years of experience in quality assurance, new product development, or product qualification. Familiar with key statistical quality control tools, including Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Gage Repeatability & Reproducibility (Gage R&R), Statistical Process Control (SPC)
  • Strong communication skills with a proactive, can-do attitude.
  • Solid problem-solving skills and knowledge of project management methodologies.
  • Highly self-disciplined, self-driven, and able to work effectively in cross-functional and global team environments.
