Supplier Quality Assistant Manager

Responsibilities:

  1. Establish action plan for supplier quality performance improvement include conduct Supplier audit both annual or special.
  2. Define supplier performance development strategy and deploy to the team.
  3. Controlling for supplier performance development activities.
  4. Drive team for solving the problem in case of quality problem occur at the customer plant and inhouse.
  5. Coach & support Supplier Quality Engineer team to follow up and conduct products & process of quality issue from supplier(8D)

Qualification:

  1. Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.

  2. At least 5 years' experience from QA, QC, supplier control and 3 years up in supervisor level

  3. Knowledge in Machining process / casting process / welding process

  4. Experience in manufacturing plant, automotive field is a must.

  5. Strong knowledge in IATF16949, APQP core tool, GMEA and Control plan

  6. Well understanding in Drawing and knowledge GD&T

  7. Good command in English, business level.

  8. Good handle under pressure situation

Supplier Quality Engineer & Sr. Engineer

Job Responsibilities: -

1. Perform a quality issue review, investigation, and analysis by using root-cause analysis (8D,

5-Why), submit the report to supplier.

2. Follow up supplier to submit corrective/preventive actions, effectiveness verification and permanent closure on time.

3. Coordinate with suppliers for on-site process and product verification and then issue the report by using 8D methodology.

4. Leading supplier continuous improvement programs to achieve quality and on-time delivery targets

5. Review supplier's PPAP, audit and verify supplier's process & product on site to achieve APQA targets.

6. Collaborate between internal organization & suppliers to monitor and follow up product & process and solve the quality issues in each phase until complete with drawing and engineering specification requirements including process sign off (PSO) and announce to supplier

7. Control and manage the company quality standards such as ISO/TS 16949, ISO 14001, etc. and customer's requirement.

Qualification: -

  1. Bachelor's degree in industrial Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Metallurgical Engineer, etc.,
  2. At least 2 years' experience as a Quality Engineer (QA), preferably in the automotive manufacturing.
  3. Direct experience handle with supplier / supplier development in Automotive field/ APQP or Project Management.
  4. Automotive knowledge in IATF 16949 requirements, Quality Core Tools such APQP, FMEA, CONTROL PLAN, PPAP, SPC, MSA.
  5. Process knowledge (Casing, Machining, Welding, Coating, Plating)
  6. Have the knowledge in GD&T, 8D problem-solving methodology and root cause analysis (5 Why's.
  7. Good command of English and computer literacy. (MS excel, word, power point)
  8. Strong communication and presentation skills.
  9. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and eager to learning.
  10. Good interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external team.
