Overall Purpose of the Role

Responsible for leading and managing all security operations within the site, ensuring the protection of assets, people, and operations. The role oversees risk management, investigations, incident response, business continuity, and continuous improvement of security standards in alignment with company policies and legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities (Major Accountabilities)
Security Operations & Resource Management
  • Ensure all security resources are appropriately allocated to priority areas and operational needs at all times.
  • Manage and control security budgets effectively.
  • Oversee external security partners and third-party vendors to ensure performance meets contractual standards.
  • Serve as a key member of the Site Leadership Team and follow all leadership requirements and routines.
Continuous Improvement & Innovation
  • Promote continuous improvement within the security function, delivering at least 4 innovations annually.
  • Maintain up-to-date business recovery and contingency plans in security control rooms.
Incident & Emergency Management
  • Act as Incident Manager during emergencies, ensuring timely communication and coordination.
  • Be available 24/7 for urgent or emergency situations.
Risk Management & Compliance
  • Conduct risk audits, assessments, and establish Business Continuity Plans (BCP) for the site.
  • Perform fraud risk assessments and identify vulnerabilities in existing internal controls.
  • Ensure compliance with all security routines, risk assessment timelines, and operational standards.
Investigations
  • Conduct confidential investigations related to employees, contractors, or third-party vendors using professional techniques in interviewing, evidence collection, and documentation.
  • Ensure robust, thorough, and unbiased investigation processes.
Team Leadership & Development
  • Manage and develop the investigation/security team, including identifying staff for succession planning.
  • Ensure proper training for all security personnel according to the training matrix, including onboarding of new hires.
Stakeholder Management
  • Provide a professional interface with government agencies, authorities, suppliers, and external partners.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including Operations, HSE, Finance, HR, Automation, Inventory, Customer Service, and Claims.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education
  • Recognized security-related qualifications or certifications.
Experience
  • Minimum 5+ years' experience in a security leadership role within a large FMCG or industrial environment.
  • Strong background in investigations, fraud assessment, interviewing procedures, and evidence handling.
  • Experience with data analysis to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Experience in fraud detection, third-party risk management, and theft investigations.
  • Thai national preferred; ex-military or ex-service background is an advantage.
