Job Purpose
The primary purpose of the role is as Solutions Area Specialist (SAS) / Presales Technical for Microsoft Azure workload is to grow the Cloud consumption revenue for Azure services by collaborating with Microsoft Cloud Partners (Cloud Solution Providers and Independent Solution Vendors), in line with the designated country Go-to-Market (GTM) strategies.
This role will also leverage on the relationship with Tele Sales Reps to prospect potential customers from a data-driven database in acquiring new clients to consume Azure services. from data-analytic to drive revenue for respective country through partners.
Description of Responsibility
- Support Tele Sales to drive large and complex deals with advance workload in SMB with sell-with partners, and unmanaged partners.
- Support SMB Segment to drive Cloud Adoption, Cloud Consumption, Upsell and Cross Sell Cloud Solutions with high propensity customer sets through sell-with partners, and unmanage partners.
- Supporting partners to drive Azure and Office 365 campaign/programs developed by Microsoft.
- Supporting partners to drive leads/opportunities from Microsoft engines include Marketing, Tele-sales.
- Responsible for the Country's Cloud Pipeline generation and progression
- Technical Account Manager to own top accounts in the country assigned, where the responsibilities include, but not limited to, opportunity creation, orchestration with stakeholders (e.g. TCM, Partners, CLM) and having accountability for managing pipeline progression
- Manages subsets of accounts/leads driven by the SAS nominated by the Country (tactical accounts)
- Be involved in customer-facing activities that promote the progression of an opportunity through technical demos and presentation
- Deals Closure – act as technical advisor, numbers of sales influenced by sales reps' coverage (based on ratio or Country)
- Complex Cloud Deal orchestrator between the sales resources, Territory Channel Manager and Partner(s) until deal closure
- Promote Solutions Assessments or Scanning to customers by engaging relevant Partners
- Drive the complete process along with the strategic partners of Microsoft and the sales team
Requirement:
- Bachelor Degree or Diploma Degree holder
- Around 3 years of relevant experience in presales or technical sales experience in one or more of the following areas: Systems Operations / Management, Virtualization, IP Networking, Storage, HPC, IT Security, Linux. Solution business, Client applications, Security solutions with understanding or experience in security
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and native Thai speaker.
- Excellent communicator and the ability to articulate Cloud solutions as a technical consultant
- Good experience in pre-sales or technical background in architecture, design, implementation, and/or support of highly distributed applications
- Willing to relocate and work in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia
