Senior Business Analyst

Function: Office of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO Office)

Reporting to: Head of CEO Office

Job Summary

The Senior Business Analyst supports the CEO Office by delivering in-depth business analysis, strategic insights, and executive-level reports to enable informed decision-making on new business and strategic initiatives across BG Group. The role works closely with the Head of CEO Office and senior stakeholders in a fast-paced, highly dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

Business & Strategic Analysis

  • Analyze new business opportunities, strategic initiatives, and business models across BG Group.
  • Develop business cases, feasibility studies, and financial analyses to support executive decision-making.
  • Assess risks, returns, and strategic alignment of proposed initiatives.

Data Analysis & Executive Reporting

  • Collect, analyze, and synthesize data from internal and external sources.
  • Prepare executive-level reports, presentations, and dashboards for the Head of CEO Office, CEO, and senior management.
  • Translate complex analyses into clear, actionable insights and recommendations.

Strategic Project Support

  • Support and monitor new business and strategic projects assigned by the Head of CEO Office or CEO.
  • Coordinate with group business units, functional teams, and external partners.
  • Track project progress, identify issues, and propose data-driven and strategic solutions.

Market Intelligence & Business Insights

  • Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and new business models.
  • Analyze implications for the group's growth strategy and competitive position.
  • Provide timely insights to support strategic planning and executive discussions.

Other Assignments

  • Perform ad-hoc analysis and strategic assignments as directed by the Head of CEO Office or CEO.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in business analysis, strategy, management consulting, corporate development, or investment-related roles.
  • Strong analytical and structured thinking skills with solid business acumen.
  • Proven experience preparing executive-level materials and presenting insights to senior stakeholders.
  • High level of agility, adaptability, and comfort working in ambiguous situations.
  • Strong ownership mindset with a proactive and collaborative approach.
