Role & Responsibilities

  • General accounting tasks, including reconciling and maintaining balance sheet accounts and general ledger operations, preparing journal entries, preparing monthly closing and financial reports, preparing account/bank reconciliations.
  • Manage and support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities.
  • preparing and reviewing accounting transactions regarding AP, AR, GL, Fixed assets, depreciation and costing.
  • Perform finance analysis, reporting and management tasks.
  • Ensure all expenses and received money and verify the completeness of all required supporting documentation for all payments and received vouchers.
  • Issue quotation, invoice, Tax Invoice, withholding Tax Certificate
  • Submit statutory forms via online platforms such as DBD E-Filing, DBD Biz Regist and RD E-Filing (e.g., PND.50, PND.51, and disclosure forms).
  • Manage and monitor company cash flow to ensure interest income and operational efficiency.
  • Liaising with external auditors and the Revenue Department.
  • Monitoring the work of Financial & Accounting Officer.
  • Execute all other jobs assigned by the supervisor.

Required & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accountancy or a professional accounting qualification (CPA).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Accounting operations, including 2+ years as a supervisor.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and financial reporting.
  • Experience with express systems and Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Proficiency in accounting softwares and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to present complex financial information clearly.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
