DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES | About the role
The accountant's role is responsible for managing financial data input for the company. This role involves supporting the preparation of financial statements, examining and analysing accounts, and ensuring compliance with financial reporting standards, tax regulations, internal policies and procedures.
This role reports to the Head of Finance, Thailand and Vietnam.
As the Senior Accountant, you will:
In-charge of AP, record vendor purchases and other suppliers in the EN group accounting module
Forecast cash outflows related to vendor and supplier payment.
Prepare the AP related reports including VAT reports.
Handle all tax-related matters with accuracy and compliance.
Support AR by monitoring AR overdue aging and following up with customers.
Support the preparation of monthly financial reporting packs for 5 entities.
Support audits (including but not limited to internal audits, tax audits, financial audits…)
And other support tasks as required.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE | About you
The ideal Senior Accountant:
Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience: 4-5 years of experience in accounting or a related area.
Meticulous and proficient in MS office especially in MS Excel.
Efficient, hardworking and positive work attitude.
Good English writing and speaking.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Prefer candidates having experience with financial report preparation.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to work in an international Group.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
