Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive professional to oversee the scheduling, planning, and execution of material procurement, production, and delivery. This role ensures smooth material flow across the manufacturing process and supports business objectives through effective planning and supplier collaboration.

What You Will Do:

  1. Coordinate the flow of materials within the manufacturing facility and manage premium freight transfers to and from inventory or warehouse.
  2. Develop and execute material planning for assigned product lines, ensuring timely fulfillment of material requirements.
  3. Schedule and control the release of materials while monitoring inventory levels in the plant, warehouse, and with critical suppliers.
  4. Build and follow up on procurement plans to align with business goals.
  5. Track and analyze supplier performance metrics, and collaborate and negotiate with suppliers to meet delivery and quality requirements.

What You Have:

Products and Services

  • Working knowledge of product and service linkages, delivery alternatives, and cost/pricing assessments within your unit.

Problem Solving

  • Ability to identify and document problems, analyze stakeholder perspectives, and evaluate resolution alternatives using diagnostic tools.

Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP)

  • Experience with real-time inventory systems, bottleneck impact analysis, and basic DRP processes to support order fulfillment and inventory replenishment.

Forecasting

  • Skilled in preparing short-term forecasts, analyzing demand data, researching seasonal trends, and understanding business conditions affecting demand.

Inventory Management – MFG

  • Extensive experience managing inventory levels, setting benchmarks, resolving conflicts, and coordinating inventory across multiple locations.

Logistics Management

  • Familiarity with logistics process flows, delivery forecasting tools, shipment tracking systems, and domestic logistics integration.

Manufacturing Requirements Planning (MRP)

  • Proficient in planning production runs, analyzing orders, scheduling jobs, and ensuring material availability using MRP tools and systems.

Supplier Management – MFG

  • Working knowledge of supplier management processes, electronic transaction systems, issue resolution, vendor research, and purchase coordination.
