About the job

This generalist role involves executing all aspects of the company's People Operations, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, HR compliance, employee data management, compensation and benefits, payroll support, and office administration for Thailand operations.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment

  • Work closely with the HR Manager, Hiring Managers, General Manager, and other HEPMIL Ops/Leaders as required to strategize and execute the recruitment and selection process, including creating job descriptions, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and making offers.
  • Assist in optimizing recruitment processes and enhancing the quality of hires through regular reviews with the Head of People and HR Managers.

Employee Relations

  • Assist People Leads in implementing and monitoring People policies and processes that align with the company's goals and culture.
  • Assist People Leads in administering employee welfare and benefits, covering all aspects of the workplace environment that support employee well-being, including physical safety, mental health, health insurance, leave management, and other support services.
  • Execute and continuously improve employee onboarding and orientation processes to facilitate smooth integration of new hires, including job-required account creation, office access, and introduction to the company's structure, culture, vision, mission, and values.
  • Execute and assist in improving employee offboarding processes, ensuring all exits are well-planned to maintain a positive company culture, data security, and company reputation.

Performance Management

  • Assist the HR Manager in executing training and development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Support People Leads and Managers during performance appraisal cycles, including goal setting, monitoring, and reviewing employee achievements.

HR Compliance

  • Assist People Leads in overseeing HR compliance by maintaining accurate employee records, ensuring compliance with employment laws and internal policies, and supporting audits or inspections when required.\

Employee Data Management

  • Work closely with the People Lead to ensure employee data is accurately integrated into payroll systems for timely and correct salary processing.
  • Regularly review and update employee records, ensuring changes such as new hires, terminations, promotions, transfers, and salary adjustments are properly recorded.
  • Handle sensitive employee information with strict confidentiality and in accordance with data protection regulations.

Payroll & Office Administration (Thailand)

Payroll Support

  • Assist the HR Manager in overseeing end-to-end monthly payroll processing for Thailand, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with local labor laws and statutory requirements.
  • Coordinate with payroll vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate calculation of salaries, overtime, bonuses, allowances, commissions, and deductions.
  • Support administration and submission of statutory contributions and filings, including Social Security Fund (SSF), personal income tax (PND forms), provident fund (if applicable), and other government-related requirements.
  • Ensure payroll-related employee data such as new hires, resignations, salary changes, promotions, and leave balances are accurately maintained in payroll systems.
  • Handle payroll-related inquiries from employees in a professional and confidential manner.

HR & Office Administration

  • Provide general HR administrative support to the HR Manager in overseeing Thailand country operations.
  • Prepare and maintain HR documentation, including employment contracts, amendments, confirmation letters, certificates, and internal HR reports.
  • Support office administration activities, including coordination with office vendors, facilities management, office supplies, and administrative renewals as required.
  • Assist in managing HR-related audits, government inspections, or external inquiries for Thailand.
  • Perform other HR and office administrative ad hoc duties as assigned by the HR Manager to support smooth daily operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.
  • Preferably 1–3 years of experience in HR, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, and payroll support.
  • Strong knowledge of HR compliance regulations and employment laws.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage employees at all levels.
  • Proactive, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
