Role: Merchandising Executive

Reporting to: Country Manager, Thailand

Beyond The Vines is a multidisciplinary design studio based in Singapore, with a physical and online retail presence in Singapore and the region. We have an exciting opportunity for a Merchandising Executive to join our team in Thailand.

Responsibilities include:

  • Execute ordering for each product for Thailand market for both new and repeat orders to hit each market's respective financial budgets.

  • Initiate and undertake tactical actions to hit KPIs which include achieving sales targets, optimizing sell-through and inventory levels.

  • Undertake strategic stock allocation to stores to ensure each store's merchandise mix and inventory levels are optimized in accordance with each store's DNA.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (Design, Visual Merchandising, Supply Chain, Marketing, Digital) on key decisions to successfully deliver the brand's strategic direction.

  • Consistent communication with internal teams to provide weekly product focus in order to align inter-department efforts for maximum sales impact.

  • Work with the team to propose suitable ordering strategy and quantities, price positioning, and mark-down cadence in line with brand's strategic direction and revenue targets.

  • Closely monitor Thailand product performance and sell-through, presenting information through product performance reports on a weekly basis.

  • Analyse Thailand stores sales data, market trends and retail sell-through data to take appropriate merchandise actions to help achieve market potential.

  • Analyse, propose and implement replenishments for Thailand stores throughout the year with appropriate repeat orders.

  • Work with partners to ensure appropriate collection/product selection, sizing profile/curve and price positioning for Thailand market.

  • Conduct extensive research of the brand's key markets to develop an in-depth understanding of market-specific consumer behavior, preferences, and insights.

  • Define and manage product assortment for all stores and markets, ensuring a consistent look, feel, and product representation across all platforms.

  • Work with the Visual Merchandising team to maximize VM opportunities to drive the business with a view to local needs that are in line with HQ guidelines.

  • Weekly store visits to gather feedback from the retail team and touch base with customers to gather information that will be used to present a comprehensive merchandise plan for the store.

  • Perform any other duties to ensure the overall success of the business.

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor's degree in business preferred, with minimally 1-3 years of experience in Merchandising roles for similar fashion/lifestyle/e-commerce brands with a global presence.

  • Strong analytical and forecasting skills with the ability to report and present both qualitative and quantitative data in a clear, concise manner.

  • Keen understanding and interest in fashion/lifestyle trends and brands.

  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel and other core data analytics apps.

  • Self-motivated, with a strong drive for achievement and accuracy.

  • Meticulous, with a strong attention to detail.

  • A strong, clear, and concise communicator who can work both independently and within team settings.
