Our client is premium chain healthcare service in Thailand. The company is looking for a suitable candidate for the position of Legal Manager to set up and lead legal operations, regulatory compliance, and risk management for all business units.

Job Description

Legal Advisory & Operations

  • Provide legal guidance on business operations, commercial strategy, partnerships, and new projects.
  • Review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of agreements including vendor contracts, service agreements, partnership MOUs, employment contracts, and lease agreements.
  • Manage legal matters related to corporate governance, licensing, and business registration.
  • Coordinate with external law firms and regulatory bodies when necessary.

Regulatory Compliance

  • Ensure company compliance with all relevant Thai laws and industry regulations, including healthcare-related requirements, data protection (PDPA), labor law, and corporate filings.
  • Oversee the licensing process for multi-location operations to ensure all branches meet regulatory standards.
  • Develop and implement internal compliance frameworks, SOPs, and risk-control measures.

Risk Management & Internal Controls

  • Identify potential legal and compliance risks and provide proactive solutions to management.
  • Conduct compliance audits, trainings, and internal reviews for staff and leadership teams.
  • Monitor regulatory updates and communicate key changes to stakeholders.

Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Collaborate closely with Operations, HR, Finance, and Commercial teams to ensure business expansion and daily activities are legally compliant.
  • Support new business models, service packages, and partnerships involving travel, hospitality, and international customer segments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Law; Master's degree is an advantage.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in Legal, Compliance, or Corporate Governance roles.
  • Experience in healthcare, hospital/clinic operations, wellness, hospitality, retail, or other multi-site service businesses is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Thai laws including commercial law, labor law, PDPA, and healthcare-related regulations.
  • Proven ability to draft and negotiate contracts independently.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, growing business environment.
