As a
Legal Manager
at B. Braun, you will play a vital role in exercising sound legal judgment, managing legal risks, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. You will provide strategic legal counsel that aligns with and supports B. Braun's business objectives. This position is part of the APAC Legal and Compliance Team, with a functional reporting line to the Vice President of Legal and Compliance APAC, and a disciplinary reporting line to the Managing Director of B. Braun Thailand.

Following an initial period in Thailand, the role is expected to transition to B. Braun's APAC Headquarters and Regional Legal & Compliance Department, located at B. Braun Medical Industries in Penang, Malaysia.

Your key responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality, timely, and commercially sound legal advice to business units and senior management, including support on complex transactions such as mergers & acquisitions and strategic partnerships.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial contracts, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and risk management frameworks.
• Lead the digital transformation of legal operations, including Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM), e-signature adoption, workflow automation, and integration of AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Co-Pilot).
• Oversee regulatory compliance and corporate governance matters, including filings, licenses, secretarial documentation, and board/shareholder resolutions.
• Support manufacturing site compliance with applicable laws (e.g., labor, environmental, safety), including regular site visits and legal risk assessments.
• Manage disputes and litigation, coordinate with external counsel, monitor case outcomes, and maintain legal department budgets and reporting.
• Serve as Compliance Officer for all Thai legal entities, implementing global compliance policies locally and supporting regional adaptation across APAC markets.
• Conduct compliance training and awareness programs, investigate incidents, submit reports to regional/global offices, and represent B. Braun in industry forums to promote ethical business practices.

What you will bring to the team:

• Bachelor's degree in Law; a Master's degree is considered an advantage. Must be enrolled with the Thai Bar Association.
• Minimum 6–8 years of progressive experience in legal and compliance roles, preferably within a multinational or regional context.
• Strong expertise in commercial, corporate, and healthcare law, with proven ability to manage cross-border legal matters.
• Excellent communication skills in both Thai and English (spoken and written), with strong business acumen and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and digital legal tools (e.g., DocuSign, PDF Sign); familiarity with AI-based platforms such as Microsoft Copilot is a plus.
