Position Summary

The Corporate Planning Specialist plays a key role in shaping, monitoring, and evaluating the company's strategic and financial plans. The position focuses on business performance management, corporate-level planning cycles, and long-term strategic alignment across business units — ensuring that each division's direction supports the conglomerate's overarching goals.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic & Business Planning

  • Coordinate annual business planning processes with all business units.
  • Consolidate strategic plans, budgets, and performance targets at the group level.
  • Analyze each division's plan for alignment with corporate strategy.

2. Performance Management

  • Track monthly and quarterly business performance versus targets (financial and operational).
  • Prepare management reports, executive dashboards, and variance analyses.
  • Provide recommendations to management to address gaps or optimize performance.

3. Corporate Forecasting & Scenario Planning

  • Conduct strategic forecasting and scenario analysis to support management decisions.
  • Develop long-term growth projections and investment prioritization models.
  • Monitor key industry and economic indicators affecting group performance.

4. Strategic Initiatives Support

  • Support major corporate initiatives such as transformation programs, restructuring, or portfolio optimization.
  • Collaborate with the Business Development team on strategy validation for new ventures.

5. Reporting & Governance

  • Prepare reports for Executive Committee and Board of Directors.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity in all corporate performance reporting
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, Finance, Economics, or Accounting.
  • Minimum a year of experience in corporate planning, management consulting, business analysis, or FP&A.
  • Strong analytical, numerical, and strategic planning skills.
  • Proficient in Excel, Power BI, and presentation tools (PowerPoint).
  • Structured, detail-oriented, and capable of synthesizing complex information.
