Manager - Corporate Planning

Position description summary: The position plays a critical role in corporate planning and is involved in all aspects of the business, with a particular emphasis on reporting and project management. The primary objective is to focus on strategic planning and financial analysis — designing a roadmap for growth and improved profitability in the face of competition and change. This includes evaluating company and channel performance, assessing competitor activities, and identifying business opportunities and threats. The role ensures that all processes and initiatives align with the company's strategic objectives. Responsibilities include conducting analyses, making adjustments, facilitating communication, implementing actions or alternatives, preparing comprehensive reports and documentation, and contributing to the development and execution of strategic plans.
Major responsibilities:
1. To develop and oversee business plans and strategies. Regularly monitor company and distribution channel performance and KPIs. Conduct performance analysis to identify improvement areas that enhance sales quality and effectiveness. Act as a strategic partner to distribution channels by providing insights into sales strategies, sales management, data-driven decision-making, and actionable strategic initiatives.
2. To prepare and complete annual, quarterly, and monthly business reports, performance reviews, risk assessments, and strategic analysis for submission to regulators, the regional office and executive management. Coordinate with internal teams to prepare materials for meetings and collaborate across departments to address business issues and align to shareholder objectives.
3. To drive strategic initiatives and manage key projects at both departmental and corporate levels which also include continuous improvement in planning processes, tools, and frameworks to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Perform business analysis, provide recommendations, communicate action plans, and implement operational improvements in alignment with strategic goals.
4. To gather and analyze market intelligence, monitor industry and competitor trends, and build forecasting models and scenario analyses. Evaluate strategic performance, identify new business opportunities, assess risks, and recommend solutions. Provide analytical support to channels for new business initiatives.
5. To manage and mentor junior team members to ensure quality output and support professional development.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field; MBA or equivalent is preferred.
· Minimum 7–10 years of experience in corporate planning, strategy, financial analysis, or a related field.
· Passionate, self-motivated, strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
· Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience working directly with senior executives.
· Proficiency in financial modeling, business intelligence tools, and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
· Fluent in Thai and English (spoken and written)
