Event Services Manager

Job Purpose:
To lead and manage the planning, execution, and post-event review of all live events hosted at UOB LIVE. This role ensures seamless event operations, exceptional guest experience, and compliance with safety and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Event Operations Management
Oversee the full event lifecycle from client brief to execution and wrap-up.
- Coordinate with internal departments (AV, Building Services, Security, etc.) for operational readiness.
Monitor event timelines, floor plans, equipment setup, and manpower deployment.
Team Leadership
Supervise and develop the Event Services team, providing clear guidance and performance feedback.
- Create staff schedules and ensure coverage for all operational needs.
Facilitate training for new and existing staff on event protocol and service standards.
Client & Stakeholder Coordination
Act as the main point of contact for clients during planning and execution.
- Manage expectations and resolve issues in real-time with professionalism and agility.
Maintain strong relationships with vendors, partners, and sponsors.
Compliance & Safety
Ensure all events comply with health, safety, and legal regulations.
- Lead risk assessments and emergency preparedness drills.
Maintain event documentation for internal audit and ISO compliance.
Performance Improvement
Conduct post-event evaluations and prepare detailed reports.
- Implement continuous improvements based on client feedback and lessons learned.
- Track team KPIs and align with department goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in event operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Strong leadership, coordination, and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to manage large-scale events and cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication skills in both Thai and English
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
