We are seeking an experienced and strategic-minded individual to join our dynamic team as a Buying and Planning Section Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the buying and planning activities within our fashion retail business. Your primary focus will be on optimizing inventory levels, maximizing sales, and ensuring a seamless and profitable operation. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, excellent leadership qualities, and a deep understanding of the fashion retail industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies aligned with sales and profit goals.
  • Conduct market analysis to inform merchandise decisions.
  • Plan and manage inventory levels to meet demand.
  • Implement effective replenishment strategies.
  • Collaborate with buyers to curate product assortments.
  • Ensure a balanced and visually appealing product mix.
  • Use forecasting tools to predict product demand.
  • Collaborate with the forecasting team to adjust plans.
  • Analyze sales performance and generate key performance indicators.
  • Develop action plans to address performance gaps.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Merchandising, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in planning (OTB), inventory management, or a related role within the fashion retail industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in using relevant tools and software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Leadership experience with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Knowledge of current fashion trends and market dynamics.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
