We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven professional with a strong technical background in the Industrial Solutions industry. The ideal candidate will not only possess solid technical expertise but also demonstrate exceptional communication and relationship management skills.
This role offers exposure to a wide range of industries beyond Paints & Coatings. Experience in the following areas will be a strong advantage: Concrete Admixtures, Polymer Emulsions, Wood, Gypsum, Mineral Slurries, Construction, Adhesives, Glove Coating, Agro Chemical, Energy & Water Treatment.

Key Accountabilities:
- Sales Management
: Setting and achieving annual sales targets in collaboration with the line manager by driving customer relationships, identifying business opportunities, tracking performance, analysing markets, and supporting strategic business and product portfolio development for revenue growth. - Area Management
: Oversee the business for an assigned region by engaging with distributors and customers, maintaining existing business relationships, and identifying new growth opportunities. - Business Visits and Reporting
: You will be responsible for planning and conducting regular business visits to both existing and prospective clients within your assigned region. These visits are essential for building and maintaining strong relationships with distributors and customers. Key activities include engaging with key stakeholders, gathering market insights, understanding customer needs, and identifying opportunities for growth and improvement. You are expected to submit visit reports in the CRM system. - Order Management
: Responsible to follow up and receive customer orders, communicate all relevant details to the SCM team, and coordinate customer service programs. Responsible for handling customer complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring that all issues are resolved in a timely manner. Follow up Handle customer complaints and provide necessary information to Regulatory Management, QC Management, BU Business Support, and the BU Manager. - Advertising & Promotions
: Developing and executing advertising strategies and sales promotion activities to enhance our brand visibility and drive product sales. You will assist in formulating targeted advertising plans that align with business objectives, ensuring effective communication of key messages to our customers and stakeholders. - Key Account Management
: Responsible for maintaining and developing strong, long-term relationships with General Key Accounts (GKA) and regional key accounts. You will act as the primary point of contact for these high-value clients, ensuring their needs are met and delivering exceptional customer service to drive business growth. - Forecasting & Receivables
: Responsible for managing sales forecasting and receivables to ensure financial targets are met and cash flow is optimized. You will work closely with internal teams to forecast sales accurately, track payments, and ensure timely collection of receivables from customers. - Technical Support
: Collaborate closely with the technical team to provide comprehensive support to customers, ensuring they receive expert guidance and assistance to optimize product performance. Additionally, you will be responsible for organizing and conducting Plant Hygiene sessions in the relevant regions, educating customers on proper maintenance and operational best practices. - Distributor Network Development
: Support the Business Unit (BU) Manager in developing, managing, and expanding the distributor network to meet the company's growth objectives. You will work closely with distributors to strengthen relationships, enhance performance, and ensure the network operates efficiently to drive business success.
Requirements
- Education:
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry and life-science or a related field. - Experience:
A minimum of 7 years of professional experience in industrial applications within the chemical industry, with a deep understanding of market dynamics, product development, and customer needs. - Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with internal teams, customers, and stakeholders. Proficiency in English and local languages will be an advantage. - Project Management:
Proven ability to identify and capitalizing on customer opportunities.
