Position Overview:

Hand Global Solutions part of HAND Enterprise Solutions with an annual revenue of SGD 600M+, is seeking to accelerate our expansion in the Southeast Asia (Thailand) market. We are looking for an experienced and strategic Overseas Business Director to lead the overall business development and team management in the Southeast Asia region. This role will be directly involved in the planning of business strategy, market development, customer relationship management, and team building for the Southeast Asia region.

Key Responsibilities:

1.     Market Expansion and Strategy Planning:


•     Identify and assess business opportunities and growth potential in Thailand and develop regional market entry strategies.


•     Conduct in-depth analysis of local market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to devise competitive market entry and product promotion strategies.

2.     Client Relations and Sales Management:


•     Proven success in outbound sales and pipeline generation


•     A track record of hitting (and beating) quotas


•     Build and maintain relationships with potential clients in Thailand (e.g., medium to large enterprises, multinational corporations) to drive business growth.


•     Set and execute sales targets, leading the team in marketing, sales, and business negotiations.

3.     Team Management and Cross-Department Collaboration:


•     Coordinate with product, implementation, customer service, and other cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions and services to clients.


•     Manage regional budgets and oversee operating costs to ensure the efficient use of company resources.

4.     Market and Product Feedback:


•     Provide regular feedback to headquarters on business development in Thailand and propose improvements to product and market strategies.


•     Monitor market dynamics and customer feedback, driving product localization and innovation to meet the specific needs of Thailand markets.

Qualifications:

1.     Educational Background:


•     Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in Marketing, International Business, Business Administration, or related fields.

2.     Work Experience:


•     At least 3 years of experience in overseas market development or sales management within the SaaS industry or related fields (e.g., ERP, Expense and ITSM management, enterprise software).


•     At least 3 years of experience working in Southeast Asia, with a deep understanding of the region's culture, market trends, and business practices.


•     Proven success in business development and team management for multinational companies or regional markets.

3.     Language Skills:


•     Fluent in both spoken and written English, with the ability to communicate effectively with headquarters and international teams.


•     Proficiency in additional Southeast Asian languages (e.g., Malay, Thai, Indonesian, Chinese) is preferred to liaise with overseas counterparts.

4.     Professional Skills:


•     Strong market analysis and business acumen, with the ability to identify and seize market opportunities.


•     Excellent negotiation, communication, and client management skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships in complex business environments.


•     Familiarity with SaaS sales models, and digital marketing techniques; hands-on experience is a plus.
