Assistant Commercial Manager

Role and Responsibilities:

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated professional with a strong background in Commercial to lead our sales & marketing efforts and drive the growth of our airline business.

  • Develop and manage a commercial plan, ensuring end-to-end accountability for revenue and market penetration targets.

  • Identify, evaluate, and develop new route opportunities for business expansion, with a focus on maximizing profitability.

  • Oversee a creation and execution of marketing initiatives in all channels.

  • Monitor and analyze key performance metrics, using data-driven insights to refine and improve commercial activities.

  • Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to form strategic decisions and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including operational departments and Finance to align with commercial strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Develop, update and submit a company business plan for regulatory approvals.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to strengthen brand visibility and build strategic partnerships.

Education level

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Logistics or a related field.

Experience

  • Minimum7 years of experience in commercial roles within the aviation industry with at least 3 years in air cargo business or air charter brokerage.

Qualifications:

  • Solid understanding of the airline industry, including market dynamics, regulatory requirements, and competitive landscape.
  • Proven track record in developing and executing successful commercial strategies that drive revenue growth and expand market share.

  • Analytical mindset with an ability to interpret data and performance metrics to guide decision-making and assess marketing effectiveness.

  • Creative thinker with a passion for driving continuous improvement.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English, capable of collaborating effectively with cross-functional department and all stakeholders.
  • Resilient under pressure and highly adaptable to changing priorities and business needs.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
