GM (Pet Food) – Branded Sales Lead

Location: Thailand (regional export scope)

Reports to: CEO

Mission: Lead end-to-end commercial growth for our own pet food brand—own the sales P&L, scale omnichannel distribution, and build a winning route-to-market across Thailand and priority export markets.

What You'll Do

  • Own the P&L: Deliver NSV, GP%, and cash targets; manage price/pack architecture, promo guardrails, and mix to expand margin.
  • Channel Leadership: Build and execute strategy for Pet Specialty, Modern Trade, E-commerce/Marketplaces (Lazada/Shopee/TikTok), D2C, and Vet/Clinic & Breeder channels.
  • Distributor Excellence (TH & Export): Select, contract, and performance-manage distributors; set JTBD, targets, and playbooks; run QBRs with transparent scorecards.
  • Market Development: Open priority export markets; secure registrations/labels; localize assortment and claims to AAFCO/FEDIAF guidance in partnership with QA/Regulatory.
  • Demand & S&OP: Lead rolling forecast, drive MAPE improvement, and ensure OTIF with Supply/Plant; anticipate promo/launch uplifts.
  • Brand & Activation: Partner with Marketing on campaigns, influencers/KOLs, pet events, and content; track promo ROI, ROAS, and CAC/LTV with a test-and-learn cadence.
  • Key Account Management: Negotiate terms, listings, and visibility; deliver picture-of-success and perfect-store execution.
  • Team & Culture: Build a high-performing sales org (KAM, Trade Marketing, E-com, Field); coach for pipeline, negotiation, and data-driven selling.

What We're Looking For

  • 10–12+ years in Pet Care or CPG, with 5+ years leading national sales/omnichannel for a branded portfolio.
  • Proven growth in Pet Specialty + E-commerce, with distributor management and export market entry experience.
  • Strong financial acumen (GP bridge: price/mix/volume/promo; trade terms; working capital).
  • Comfortable with data—dashboarding, cohort metrics, and forecast accuracy; hands-on with S&OP.
  • Fluent in Thai & English; decisive, collaborative, and customer-obsessed.
