Supporting the Assistant Operations Director, this role ensures operational excellence through daily task execution, compliance management, and cross-department coordination. As the central operational link, the position drives efficiency by maintaining standards, facilitating communication, and resolving workflow bottlenecks. Key responsibilities include assisting with SOP audits, staffing coordination, customer service, reporting, and event logistics.

Key Responsibilities

Cross-Department Coordination

  • Act as the primary point of contact between Operations, HR, Marketing, and Events teams to align priorities and workflows.
  • Organize and document interdepartmental meetings, tracking action items and deadlines for accountability.
  • Communicate real-time operational updates (e.g., staffing shortages, inventory needs) to relevant stakeholders.

Operational Support & Compliance

  • Assist in auditing and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ensuring changes are disseminated company-wide.
  • Maintain a centralized digital hub (e.g., shared drive) for SOPs, training materials, and compliance documentation.

Event & Project Management Support

  • Collaborate with Marketing to develop event timelines, checklists, and promotional plans.
  • Coordinate logistics with vendors and internal teams (Inventory, Staffing) to ensure successful execution.
  • Assist in post-event evaluations, compiling insights and recommendations for future improvements.

Administrative Excellence

  • Manage and organize critical records (SOPs, training logs, safety inspections).
  • Monitor and replenish operational supplies, placing orders as needed.
  • Provide support to the Assistant Operations Director for special projects.

Customer Service & Reputation Management
- Monitor and escalate customer feedback (online reviews, surveys) to supervisors.
- Help address guest concerns promptly and document resolutions.
- Maintain a log of recurring service issues for process improvement.
