Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary
Managing Director
to lead and drive the overall strategy, performance, and sustainable growth of a
listed retail company
. The MD will be responsible for setting the strategic direction, ensuring strong financial performance, and delivering long-term value to shareholders while strengthening the company's market position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the
    overall corporate and retail strategy
    aligned with shareholder and board objectives
  • Lead and manage the
    executive management team
    , fostering a high-performance culture
  • Drive
    revenue growth, profitability, and operational excellence
    across retail operations
  • Oversee
    store expansion, omni-channel strategy, and brand development
  • Ensure strong
    corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and risk management
    in line with listed company requirements
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with the
    Board of Directors, investors, regulators, and key stakeholders
  • Lead
    financial planning, budgeting, and performance management
  • Represent the company in
    investor relations, public communications, and industry forums
  • Identify and evaluate
    M&A, partnerships, and new business opportunities

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in
    Business, Management, Finance, or related fields
  • Minimum
    15–20 years of senior leadership experience
    , with proven track record as CEO /
    Managing Director / Executive Director
  • Strong experience in the
    retail industry
    , preferably within a
    listed or large-scale organization
  • Solid understanding of
    P&L management, corporate finance, and capital markets
  • Proven experience working closely with
    Boards and investors
  • Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • High integrity with strong governance and compliance mindset
