Role Description

This is a full-time on-site position for a Teacher of Economics and Business at British Concordance International School in Chiang Mai, Thailand. The role involves planning and delivering engaging lessons in economics and business, fostering critical thinking, and supporting students to achieve academic excellence. The teacher will assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the curriculum. Additional responsibilities may include participation in school events, staff meetings, and professional development activities.

Qualifications

  • Experience of teaching economics and business for IGCSE, Cambridge or Pearson.
  • Strong background in education and teaching of economics and business subjects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Experience in mentoring students to help them achieve their learning goals.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in economics, business, or a related field.
  • Teaching certification or qualification is strongly preferred.

Salary & benefits

Salary around 60,000 baht depending on qualifications and experience, housing allowance, and support with flights.
