Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Plant HR Manager with strong background in manufacturing. The HR Manager will oversee all HR functions at our plant in Chiang Mai, and act as a strategic partner to senior leadership to drive workforce planning, employee engagement, talent development, and compliance.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage all HR functions (HRM & HRD) for the manufacturing plant, including recruitment, onboarding, training & development, performance management.
  • Develop HR strategies aligned with business objectives and manufacturing operations.
  • Workforce planning: forecast headcount needs, shift planning, permanent & contract staffing.
  • Manage employee relations, grievance handling, labor law compliance, and liaison with local authorities.
  • Design and administer compensation & benefits structure appropriate for manufacturing roles (production, quality, maintenance, engineering).
  • Plan and lead training programs (technical skills, safety, leadership) for plant staff, supervisors, and middle management.
  • Support and maintain company standards / quality / safety protocols (e.g. ISO, GMP / HACCP if applicable).
  • Implement HR metrics and dashboards to track turnover, absenteeism, productivity, training ROI, etc.
  • Promote employee engagement, culture initiatives, recognition programs, and communication across shop floor and administrative staff.

Required Qualifications
  • 7‑10 years of experience in HR within a manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years in a managerial/leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of Thai labor law and experience managing compliance in a factory setting.
  • Experience with large workforce / shift work / production staff.
  • Good communication skills in Thai and working proficiency in English.
  • Proficiency in HR systems, metrics, and reporting.
  • Ability to work under pressure, problem-solve, be hands‑on and visible in plant operations.
