Role Purpose

The
Technical Sales Engineer
is responsible for driving business growth by
generating leads, building strong client relationships, and achieving sales targets
. This role involves conducting
sales presentations, product demonstrations, and contract negotiations
to deliver tailored solutions that meet customer needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the complete sales cycle
    , from lead generation to deal closure.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities
    through client visits and networking.
  • Conduct
    product presentations and demonstrations
    to showcase technical capabilities and value propositions.
  • Engage with clients
    to discuss requirements, answer technical and commercial queries, and negotiate pricing and terms.
  • Prepare and review
    quotations
    in coordination with the Sales Coordinator.
  • Follow up
    on proposals to secure client purchase orders.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (Engineering, Supply Chain, and Accounts) to ensure timely order processing, delivery, and payment collection.
  • Achieve individual and company-wide sales targets.
  • Collaborate with the
    Marketing team
    to align sales efforts with promotional activities.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports, including: Monthly
    win–loss analysis,
    Monthly
    sales pipeline updates,
    Weekly
    sales planning,
    Daily
    client visit reports
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date
    client records
    .
  • Attend departmental, divisional, and team
    sales meetings
    .
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Candidate Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
    in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, Science (any major), Food Science, Microbiology, or a related technical field.
  • 1–3 years of experience
    in
    industrial product sales
    , preferably within a technical or engineering-focused environment.
  • Strong understanding of the
    sales process and market dynamics
    .
  • Excellent
    interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
    .
  • Proficiency in
    English
    (listening, speaking, reading, and writing).
  • Proven commitment to
    outstanding customer service
    .
