Job Title: Manager - HR Generalist (F&B)
Reports to: Head of HR / General Manager
To handle all HR-related functions to support smooth restaurant operations, covering recruitment, payroll, employee relations, HR administration, and basic compliance. The HR Generalist plays a hands-on role in ensuring people processes run efficiently while fostering a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Coordinate full-cycle recruitment: job posting, screening, interviewing, and hiring for both service and kitchen staff.
- Support new hire onboarding and orientation to ensure smooth integration into the team.
- Maintain candidate database and update manpower plan as needed.
HR Administration & Documentation
- Prepare and manage employee records, employment contracts, and other HR-related documents.
- Manage HR filing system (both paper and digital) and ensure confidentiality.
- Coordinate time attendance, leave record, and staff scheduling with the restaurant manager or supervisor.
Payroll & Benefits Administration
- Collect attendance and OT data, calculate monthly payroll, and coordinate with accounting for payment.
- Handle Social Security registration, updates, and monthly submissions.
- Support administration of staff benefits, uniforms, meals, and welfare programs.
Employee Relations & Communication
- Act as a first point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.
- Help maintain positive staff morale, encourage teamwork, and support a good working atmosphere.
- Assist management in handling disciplinary or performance issues with fairness and compliance.
HR Policy & Compliance
- Support the development and implementation of basic HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with Thai labor law and relevant government regulations.
- Liaise with external agencies or consultants when necessary.
Training & Development
- Identify basic training needs (e.g., service skills, hygiene, safety).
- Coordinate internal or external training sessions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in an HR generalist or HR admin role (experience in the restaurant or service industry preferred).
- Knowledge of Thai labor law and payroll process.
- Hands-on, detail-oriented, and proactive working style.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to work independently with a service-minded attitude.
