Role Description
The Senior RBI Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Chon Buri, Thailand. The role requires the development, implementation, and management of Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) programs for petrochemical and industrial facilities. Primary responsibilities include conducting equipment risk assessments, analyzing data to recommend risk mitigation strategies, collaborating with maintenance and operations teams to optimize inspection schedules, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. This role involves preparing reports, providing technical solutions, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) processes, failure mechanisms, and risk assessment methodologies.
- Strong engineering knowledge in materials, mechanical systems, and inspection techniques.
- Proficient in industry standards such as API 580, API 581, and knowledge of asset integrity management systems.
- Experience with data analysis tools, root cause analysis, and developing risk mitigation strategies.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, project management, and interpersonal skills for cross-functional teamwork.
- Proficiency in technical report writing and presenting complex technical findings to stakeholders.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related engineering discipline.
- Relevant certifications such as API 580/581 or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Experience in the petrochemical industry or a related sector is an advantage.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and maintaining operational excellence.
