Responsibilities

1) Merchandising & Buying Strategy


• Define and execute merchandising & buying strategy across all channels, including wholesale


• Ensure strategic product mix aligned with customer demand and performance insights


• Oversee size curve, replenishment, and inventory allocation to optimize store performance


• Strengthen stock freshness and reduce markdowns


• Identify market trends, consumer behavior, and new opportunities to enhance assortment


• Align seasonal buys and allocation priorities with wholesale teams to maximize sell-through

2) Financial Planning & Performance


• Oversee seasonal financial plans, OTB, pricing, and range architecture


• Create in-season action plans to drive brand visibility and sales performance


• Collaborate with brand, CVM, and expansion teams for store openings and market growth

3) Leadership & Cross-functional Collaboration


• Build and empower a high-performing merchandising & buying team


• Manage relationships with global brand partners and key wholesale accounts


• Work closely with Planning, Marketing, Retail Operations, Finance, and PR to ensure flawless product launch execution

Qualifications


• 10+ years of experience in merchandising and buying, with 3–5 years in senior leadership


• Strong background in lifestyle, luxury, or premium sportswear categories


• Expertise in merchandise financial planning and category management


• Proficient in ERP/merchandising systems (Odoo, Looker) and advanced Microsoft Office


• Excellent analytical, strategic, and communication skills


• Strong understanding of sourcing, product lifecycle, and retail business models
