JD:

  • Authorize and Supervise processing of Trade Finance products; letter of credit, bills for collections, bank guarantee and settlement (Import and export), including remittance (Inward and outward) and ensure all transactions have been executed within the timeframe.
  • Coordinate and oversee the daily operations of the team to ensure that the set productivity targets (efficiency, accuracy etc.) and processing turnaround standards are achieved.
  • Ensure productivity control and efficiency measurements are in place. Also, continually review related reports for monitoring and control of the same.
  • Ensure the existence of adequate and robust processes and controls (automated/ manual) to ensure compliance with applicable rules and regulations.
  • Ensure adequate internal controls, policies/ procedures exist pertaining to processing of transactions conducted by the operations units/ departments, in compliance with the applicable regulations.
  • Ensure reduction in processing errors by staff engaged in processing related transactions through a combination of system controls, supervisory review and established/ approved procedures.
  • Monitor and assess the Business Operations by reviewing daily exception reports and discussing significant matters with the heads of departments in order to ensure that the Company is not exposed to any related risk and that its revenues are optimized.

Requirement:

  • 5+ years of direct experience in the import, export, and remittance aspects of trade finance operations
  • Knowledgeable in laws and regulations related. (UCP600, ISBP745, URC522, and URR725)
  • Experience in import or export checker is preferable.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good English.
