  1. Trade Operations & Compliance

    1.1 Oversee and manage all international trade operations, including import and export activities.

    1.2 Ensure compliance with global trade laws, customs regulations, and international trade agreements or other related regulation

    1.3 Work closely with regulatory authorities to ensure smooth customs clearance and documentation processes. 1.4 Monitor changes in international trade policies and adjust business strategies accordingly.

    1.5 Product inspection before importation.

    1.6 Handle or monitor cosmetic product registration with relevant authorities.

    1.7 Handle or monitor applications for General Good Product licenses and maintain compliance with local regulations.

    1.8 Handle or monitor food product registration with relevant authorities.

    1.9 Handle or monitor alcohol product registration with relevant authorities.

    1.10 Monitor and recheck all Japan-requested products after team members' review.

    1.11 Handle or monitor submit retail price of Alcohol-Battert products

  2. Logistics & Supply Chain Management

    2.1 Optimize international supply chain operations, including shipping, warehousing, and distribution.

    2.2 Collaborate with logistics providers to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation of goods.

    2.3 Manage risks associated with currency fluctuations, tariffs, and geopolitical trade barriers.

    2.4 Coordinate and plan shipment schedules with the Japan export team.

  3. Financial & Risk Management

    3.1 Develop budgets and cost-control strategies for international trade operations.

    3.2 Analyze trade finance options, including letters of credit, international payment terms, and foreign exchange risks.

    3.3 Work with finance and legal teams to mitigate potential trade risks.

    3.4 Review the payment request or duty settlement payment request.

    3.5 Solve and manage unexpected problems.

  4. Export and import related

    4.1 Preparation of product information and documents required for export and import.

    4.2 Ensure product labeling compliance with local and international regulations

    4.3 Customs Declaration (Import Entry) Review

    4.4 Prepare and signatures cosmetic packaging compliance for importing.

    4.5 Coordinate with shipping and ensure timely for do customs clearance process.

    4.6 Maintain records of all required export/import documentation for auditing purposes

    4.7 Review or prepare invoice for importing.

    4.8 Review invoice-packing list for export

  5. Conduct training and transfer essential knowledge and skills to staff as necessary

    5.1 Recruit employees for department and collaboration with the Human Resources department and relevant personnel.

    5.2 Representatives from the Japan export team and other related teams in Japan.

    5.3 Representatives from warehouse

    5.4 Representatives from shipping company

    5.5 Coordinate with related government department (FDA, Customs, TISI, DFT, DIT, DOF, DOA, Excise and other)

    5.6 Representatives from JTREO

Requiements

  1. Bachelor's or master's degree in international business, Supply Chain Management, Economics, or a related field.
  2. 5+ years of experience in international trade, logistics, or global business development.
  3. Knowledge: Strong understanding of global trade regulations (e.g., WTO, INCOTERMS, Customs regulation, FDA regulation).
  4. Skills: Excellent negotiation, analytical, and strategic planning skills, Advanced Excel skills, strong leadership and team management skills.
  5. Technology: Proficiency in trade compliance software, and supply chain management tools.
  6. Language: Proficiency in English and Japanese N2
