Job Summary:

The Senior Accountant plays a critical role in managing financial operations, ensuring compliance with Thai accounting standards and tax regulations, and supporting strategic financial planning. This position involves overseeing accounting transactions and preparing details of accounting reports to support year-end closing.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting

  • Prepare monthly financial report.
  • Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closings.

Accounting Operations

  • Manage full set of accounts including A/P, A/R, G/L, and fixed assets.
  • Monitor and reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of accounting records.
  • Ability to handle full-set accounting for subsidiaries or a corporate group.

Taxation & Compliance

  • Review tax returns (VAT, WHT, Corporate Income Tax) in compliance with Thai Revenue Department regulations.
  • Liaise with external auditors and tax authorities.
  • Stay updated on changes in tax laws and accounting standards.

Process Improvement

  • Analyze workflows and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Implement accounting systems and controls to ensure data integrity.

Team Collaboration

  • Support and mentor junior accountants.
  • Collaborate with finance and other departments to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting and finance.
  • Strong knowledge of Thai accounting standards and tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software.
  • Good command of English.
  • Strong analytical and organizational.
  • Good attitude and communication skills.
