Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end R&D for ingredient development, transforming grain-based by-products into high-quality food ingredients.
  • Design and optimize processing technologies (drying, milling, extraction) from lab scale to pilot and commercial production.
  • Develop product formulations and applications for bakery, noodle, and various food categories.
  • Conduct prototype development and collaborate with customers' R&D teams for B2B trials.
  • Monitor global food trends, plant-based innovations, and upcycled ingredient technologies.
  • Manage regulatory documentation, including FDA registration, nutrition facts, and food safety compliance (GHPs/HACCP).
  • Work cross-functionally with production, QC, marketing, sales, and finance teams to drive successful product commercialization.

Key Performance Indicators
  • Successful development of new ingredient prototypes
  • Cost optimization of production processes
  • Scale-up achievements from lab to commercial stages
  • Customer adoption and successful B2B application trials

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Science, Food Engineering, Chemistry, or related fields
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in food ingredient development (e.g., flour, extracts, plant-based materials)
  • Experience in bakery or noodle ingredient applications is an advantage
  • Strong problem-solving, innovation, and project management skills
  • Ability to collaborate across teams and work under pressure
  • Proactive, analytical, and innovation-driven mindset
  • Good in English both communication and writing
