Position: Logistics Officer (sales team)

Your Impact – Key Responsibilities:

1. Trade Compliance & Logistics Operations:

  • Manage end-to-end import and export documentation, customs clearance, and shipping coordination for raw materials (e.g., silver scrap) and finished products.
  • Ensure strict compliance with international trade regulations and Incoterms.
  • Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and logistics providers to ensure cost-effective and timely shipments.
  • Oversee and perform inventory checks and reconciliation for consignments, ensuring accuracy between physical stock, documentation, and system records.
  • Gain a deep understanding of working within Free Zone and production company logistics frameworks.

2. Sales & Business Development Support:

  • Support the sales team by providing logistical expertise for client proposals and contracts.
  • Utilize your operational knowledge to identify process improvements that enhance client service and win new business.
  • A significant plus: Leverage prior experience in business development management or the jewelry business to identify new market opportunities and assist in building client relationships within the jewelry manufacturing and refining sector.

3. Administrative Excellence:

  • Maintain accurate records in ERP systems for all transactions.
  • Prepare and manage contracts, shipping documents, and certificates of origin.
  • Ensure seamless coordination between sales, procurement, warehouse, and finance departments.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Proven experience (3+ years) in logistics companies, free zone operations, or a customs/import-export officer role.
  • Strong understanding of international trade practices, Incoterms, and customs procedures.
  • Experience with inventory management and physical stock checks.
  • Background in business development, sales, or the jewelry/precious metals industry is a strong advantage.
  • Excellent command of English, both spoken and written – essential for documentation and communication.
  • Tech-savvy, proficient in MS Office, CRM systems, and logistics platforms.
  • Proactive, problem-solving attitude with impeccable attention to detail.
