Job Purpose

The Inventory Control Officer is a data-driven professional responsible for ensuring accurate stock management and inventory reporting within the Freezone warehouse. This includes maintaining system integrity, conducting reconciliations between systems, and coordinating with internal teams to support smooth warehouse operations. You are accountable for all incoming and outgoing stock. The role also involves creating and maintaining Excel-based tracking tools used by operations staff, supporting KPI reporting, and handling customer communication. The officer serves as the key point of contact for all inventory control matters and must communicate effectively in both Thai and English.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate and timely stock records in both physical and system inventories.
  • Create and maintain Excel files used by operations to support warehouse processes (receiving, dispatch, inventory checks).
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and reconcile inventory variances between WMS systems and physical stock.
  • Provide timely support to inbound and outbound operations with quantity and location verification.
  • Track, analyze, and report inventory and warehouse KPIs such as stock accuracy, turnover rates, and discrepancy resolution.
  • Lead investigations and root cause analysis of stock issues, and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain close communication with customers regarding inventory reports, stock availability, and discrepancies.
  • Uphold customer-first values by providing accurate, responsive, and transparent service at all times.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Thai nationals preferred, with fluent Thai speaking; English speaking and writing skills required.
  • Male or female, aged 23–45 years old.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in inventory control or warehouse operations.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
  • Familiarity with KPI reporting and stock reconciliation processes between systems.
  • Good command of English (both spoken and written) – must be able to communicate with foreign managers and customers.
  • Customer service mindset with a strong sense of responsibility and urgency.
  • Experience in creating and following processes.
  • Able to commute to the work location in Bang Sao Thong.
  • Experience in working in a Freezone or BOI environment is an advantage
  • If you can drive a forklift this is an advantage
