Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Commercial Executive to join our team in the Automotive (Heavy Vehicles) sector. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the full sales order process and ensuring seamless coordination of sales activities across regional markets. Key responsibilities include preparing and maintaining accurate sales documentation, monitoring order progress, and collaborating with internal teams to guarantee timely and precise deliveries.
This position is integral to maintaining operational efficiency, providing essential administrative support to the sales team, and driving overall commercial performance within a structured and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
A. Sales Coordination & Support
- Coordinate and support sales activities across regional countries.
- Provide administrative support to the sales team, including preparing quotations, proposals, and generating sales orders and invoices promptly after project completion.
B. Order Management
- Process and manage sales orders from entry to completion in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ensure all orders are fulfilled according to customer requirements to facilitate smooth billing.
- Monitor sales order progress and proactively follow up on pending or delayed items.
- Identify issues, propose improvements, and ensure smooth order fulfilment.
C. Cross-Functional Coordination
- Collaborate with production, operations and logistics teams to meet delivery schedules.
- Liaise with finance to ensure billing accuracy and timely invoicing.
D. Data Management & Reporting
- Maintain accurate pricing and order records of all sales transactions, ensuring data integrity in SAP.
- Generate reports and analyze sales data to provide insights to the management team.
- Support weekly reporting and other administrative tasks as required.
E. Business Development Support
- Assist the Regional Manager/Key Account Manager with sales projects, meetings, and reports.
- Provide general administrative support for business development initiatives.
F. Other Duties
- Perform other duties or projects as assigned by the Sales Team.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field.
- Min 2 years of experience in sales coordination, order management, or similar roles.
- Proficient in SAP and MS Office applications.
- Proficient in English (spoken and written).
- Ability to quickly learn and apply Singapore tax regulations; candidates with prior Singapore tax experience and knowledge are preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
